With local presence on, each call shows a number from the lead's area code, or else from their province or state, and the same number on every follow-up. A callback to a pool number rings the rep who last called that person. Reps share the pool, so nobody needs numbers of their own. With no local number, a call shows the session's number.

  1. Buy numbers in the areas you call. See Buy phone numbers.
  2. Open Phone → Numbers and find Local presence.
  3. Turn the switch On.
  4. Open Pool numbers and switch on each number that should be in the pool.

Coverage lists the provinces and states you've called, with Calls, Reached and the Local numbers you have there. When an area gets more calls a day than its numbers should carry, it suggests how many to add to share the load, with a shortcut to buy one.

A rep's own number in an area is also used as the local number on that rep's calls.
