Buy phone numbers

1. 1In the left sidebar, open Phone, then the Numbers tab (Phone numbers), and click Buy number.
2. 2Choose the country: Canada, United States, United Kingdom or Australia.
3. 3Search by city or area code, or leave the search blank to browse, and pick a number.
4. 4Click Purchase Number. It's added to your monthly billing straight away.

Each number costs $10 a month. You're charged now for the rest of the billing period (prorated), then monthly.

Set up a number

• Name a number (for example by region) so your team can tell them apart.
• From the number's menu: Set as default (the number you call from by default), Assign owner, Suspend or Release number.
• Pick its Voicemail voice for AI voicemails left from that number.

Numbers with an owner are under Active. Numbers nobody owns are under Reserved and are shared: anyone on the team can use them, and they can go in the local presence pool.

Releasing a number removes it from your account for good, and there's no refund for the rest of the billing period.
