Roles and permissions

Every member is an Owner, Administrator or Team Member. Admins choose exactly what each Team Member can see and do, dialer included.

Each workspace has one Owner. Administrators have full access to everything in the workspace. A Team Member has the permissions you give them.

Change someone's role

  1. Go to Settings → Team Members and click the person.
  2. Click Edit Settings.
  3. Set Workspace Role to Team Member or Administrator.

Changes save automatically. Only owners and admins can change roles and permissions, and the owner's settings can't be edited.

Permissions for a Team Member

On the same page, permissions are grouped into Core CRM, Productivity, Administration, Integrations, Dialer, SMS Messaging and Performance. For records such as contacts and deals, pick a level (No Access, View Only, Edit or Full Access) and a scope (Everything, Team Only, Assigned or Created).

Dialer permissions

Start from a preset (Caller, Lead Manager or Dialer Admin), then switch single permissions on or off. The ones teams use most:

  • Access Dialer: the master switch. Without it, no other dialer permission works.
  • Make Calls: place and take calls.
  • Use Parallel Dialer and Manage Parallel Dialer Settings.
  • Monitor Calls: listen in, whisper or barge into live calls.
  • View All Sessions and View All Logs: see everyone's dialing sessions, call logs and recordings, not just their own.
  • Drop Voicemail and Automatic Voicemail Drop.
  • Manage Settings, Manage Seats, Manage Numbers and Manage DNC: change the Phone settings, dialer seats, phone numbers and the do-not-call list.
  • Export Data: export do-not-call lists, list members and call logs.
