How to choose between JustCall and TopReach
JustCall and TopReach both put a power dialer in front of a sales team, but they start from opposite ends. JustCall is a phone system that plugs into your CRM; TopReach is the CRM, with the dialer inside. That one difference decides most of the rest.
What's the core difference between JustCall and TopReach?
JustCall describes itself as a business phone system with CRM integrations. It handles inbound and outbound calls, IVR menus, routing and texting, and logs activity to the CRM you already run. Its Sales Dialer is a separate product on the SalesPro plan for high-volume outbound.
TopReach is a CRM built for teams that sell by phone. Contacts, the deals pipeline, the dialer, texting and automatic follow-ups share one record, so there's no integration to keep in sync. It has no IVR menus or inbound queues.
Which dialer modes does each include, and on which plan?
On JustCall, the power dialer starts on Pro at $49 a user a month billed annually ($69 monthly). Multi-line dialing, a power and dynamic dialer and a predictive dialer of up to 10 lines are on SalesPro, which is quote only and billed annually.
On TopReach, every caller's $99 phone license covers power and parallel dialing, local presence and AI call summaries, with 3,000 minutes a month. There's no dialer tier to upgrade to and no quote.
Which one costs less?
Per user, JustCall. Pro is $49 a user billed annually, while one TopReach caller is $158 a month with a yearly seat and a number. JustCall's minimum of 2 licenses narrows the gap for a solo caller, and its price doesn't include a CRM or multi-line dialing.
So the honest test is this: if you already pay for a CRM you plan to keep and you only need a power dialer, JustCall will usually cost less. If you'd be buying a CRM anyway, or you want parallel dialing without a quote, add those to JustCall's figure before you compare.
Can you use JustCall and TopReach together?
You can run both, but they won't share call history on their own: TopReach has no built-in JustCall integration. It has a public API with keys and webhooks if you want to connect them yourself. Teams that split the work usually keep the support line in the phone system and outbound calling and the pipeline in TopReach.
What rules apply whichever you choose?
Outbound calling in the US falls under the TCPA, the National Do Not Call Registry and the Telemarketing Sales Rule, whose 3% abandoned-call limit matters for parallel and predictive dialing. Canada has the National DNCL and CASL. TopReach keeps your own do-not-call list and handles texting opt-outs, but it doesn't scrub numbers against the national registry. This is general information, not legal advice.
