Your business number, on your cell.

At a glance

How to get a second business number on your phone
Buy a number in TopReach, install the TopReach app on your iPhone or Android, and sign in. You can call and text from that number in the app, and calls to it ring on your phone.
What it costs
Numbers are $10 a month each. Calling needs a seat ($55 a month, or $49 billed yearly) and the $99-a-month phone license with 3,000 minutes, which also includes power and parallel dialing.
Your personal number
Stays private. Calls and texts from the app go out from your business numbers, and you pick which one on the keypad.
Your existing number
We move an existing business number over to TopReach for you, usually in 5–7 business days, with temporary numbers in the meantime so you can keep calling, or you can pick new local numbers in the area codes you call.
Who it's for
People who sell by phone and want the line, the dialer, the texts and the CRM in one app. If you only need a number for a few calls a week, a basic second-line app costs less.

Guide

How to get a second phone number for your business

There are three common ways to put a second number on one phone. Here's how they differ, and when TopReach is the right one.

What are the ways to get a second number on one phone?

  • A second SIM or eSIM from your carrier: a real second cellular line, but it's tied to one phone, it's a personal line on your bill, and nothing logs your calls.
  • A second-line app: a business number that rings through an app over the internet. Cheap and simple, and many have no dialer or CRM.
  • A sales phone app with a CRM, like TopReach: business numbers in an app that also dials your list, texts, logs every call and shares one workspace with your team.

When is a basic second-line app enough?

If you mostly answer calls and make a few a day, a basic second-line app or a VoIP phone plan will cost less than TopReach. You don't need a dialer, call scripts or a pipeline for that.

TopReach makes sense when the second number is your sales line: you call lists, follow up by text, and want every conversation on the contact's record without typing it in later.

Can I keep my personal number private?

Yes. In TopReach, calls and texts go out from your business numbers. Leads never see your personal cell number, and they can call or text your business number back.

Can I use a number in another area code?

Yes. Buy numbers in the area codes you call, at $10 a month each, in the US and Canada. With local presence on, TopReach picks the number that matches each lead's area code, or one from their province or state, and uses the same number for every follow-up.

FAQ

Common questions

Yes. Your business number lives in the TopReach app, and calls and texts run over Wi-Fi or mobile data. Your phone's own number stays as it is.
