Smart lists can send messages on top of their calls on each follow-up day. The calls themselves don't change.

1. Write templates

  1. Go to Phone → Settings → Follow-ups.
  2. Under Message templates, choose Texts, Emails or Voicemails, then click New text, New email or New voicemail script.
  3. Write it, adding fields with Insert: (First name, Last name, Company, Rep’s first name, Rep’s full name, Business name, Callback number, City), then click Save template.

Texts go from the rep's number into their text inbox. Emails go from the rep's connected mailbox, so they show in the rep's Sent folder and replies come back to them. Voicemails are spoken in the calling number's voice.

2. Add them to a list

  1. Open the smart list's Calling step and find Also send texts, emails and voicemails.
  2. Turn on Send messages on the follow-up days.
  3. For each day, add a message: the channel, when it goes (If nobody answers the call, If nobody called them that day, Every time, called or not, or for voicemails When a machine answers (the voicemail left live)) and the template.
  4. Save the list.

A reply, a conversation, or an outcome like Not interested stops the rest. Static lists can send messages after their tries.

Workspace limits

On Phone → Settings → Follow-ups, Follow-up messages has the master switch, Send follow-up messages, and limits such as No second text within, No second email within, Most voicemails per person, Most automatic emails per rep a day and Most ringless voicemails per number a day.
