Wyoming
What Wyoming's rule says
What are the calling hours in Wyoming?
In Wyoming, unsolicited telephone sales calls to consumers are allowed only from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The rule is Wyo. Stat. § 40-12-302(d), in force since 2003.
Wyoming exempts small callers: telephone solicitors who make fewer than 225 unsolicited calls a year are outside the law.
The 2003 draft of the bill said 9 p.m.; the enacted law and the current code say 8 p.m. Some older summaries still repeat 9 p.m.
Who the rule covers
Wyoming's window applies on top of the federal 8 a.m.–9 p.m. rules; where both apply, follow the narrower one.
- Covers: telephone solicitors doing business in Wyoming making unsolicited sales calls to consumers about personal, family or household goods.
- Not covered: calls at the consumer's express request, about an existing debt, to people with an established business relationship, and solicitors making fewer than 225 unsolicited calls a year.

Do Wyoming's calling hours apply to texts?
Wyoming's law doesn't address texts. No state rule for texts. The FCC's rule applies its 8 a.m.–9 p.m. limit to marketing texts sent to cell phones (47 CFR 64.1200(e)); courts are split on whether people can sue over it.

Calling Wyoming from TopReach
TopReach smart lists only dial a lead inside the legal window in their own time zone (weekdays 9 a.m.–9 p.m., weekends 10 a.m.–6 p.m.) and skip statutory holidays, and a rep calling a lead outside their hours is asked to confirm first. They don't apply Wyoming's own rule for you. To stay inside it, set your workspace's quiet hours from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m..
Recording calls into Wyoming: One-party consent: you can record a call you're on. TopReach records only when your workspace policy says so (never, always, or the rep's choice), and it doesn't play a recording announcement for you, so reps say it at the start of the call where consent is needed.
