Add a deal

  1. Open Deals and click Add deal.
  2. Fill in Client or Company, Deal Owner and Deal Value (Amount), and if you like Deal Name, Expected close, Tags, Description / Notes and custom fields.
  3. Choose the Pipeline and Stage, then save.

Move a deal

Drag the card to another stage on the Board view, or click a stage on the deal's page. Table shows deals as a list. The pipeline picker switches pipelines or shows All Pipelines (dragging is off in All Pipelines).

Moving a deal into a won or lost stage opens Mark as won or Mark as lost: record the date, the final value, why it was lost, a note, and if you like a follow-up task.

Set up pipelines and stages

  1. Go to Settings → Pipeline Settings, or choose Pipeline Settings from the options menu on Deals.
  2. Click Create Pipeline, or Templates to start from an industry template.
  3. Under Pipeline Stages, click Add Stage, rename stages with Edit Name, drag them into order, and click Save Changes.

Every pipeline keeps Closed Won and Closed Lost, which can't be deleted, and a stage that still has deals can't be deleted. Set as Primary Pipeline makes a pipeline your main one.

Deal automations

Settings → Deals Automations sends an email or a text when a deal enters a stage you choose, once or on a repeating schedule, with fields such as the person's first name and the deal name.
